Handwritten Declaration Format for IBPS, SBI, FCI and RBI Forms
Bank and government recruitment forms often ask candidates to upload a handwritten declaration. The text is fixed by each recruiting body, so always copy the wording from your own notification. Below is the IBPS wording as an example, and the rules most notifications share.
IBPS declaration text (example)
I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.
Rules commonly stated in the notifications
- Write it in English, in your own handwriting.
- Do not write in capital letters.
- Use white paper; follow the ink colour the notification specifies.
- Scan clearly without smudging, in the file format, size and dimensions given in the notification.
- Candidates unable to write may type the text and add a thumb impression, as the IBPS instructions allow.
Each recruiting body publishes its own declaration text, which can change between years. Copy the exact text from the current notification; this site does not reproduce texts it has not verified for the current year.
