DECLARATION OF HINDU UNDIVIDED FAMILY
I, Rajesh Verma, S/o Late Shri Om Prakash Verma, residing at House No. 21, Sector 15, Rohini, Delhi 110089, declare as follows:
- That I and the members named below constitute a Hindu Undivided Family known as Rajesh Verma HUF (the "HUF"), with effect from 14 October 2026, and I am its Karta.
- That the coparceners and members of the HUF are:
- Rajesh Verma, Karta, 56 years
- Sunita Verma, wife, member, 52 years
- Anjali Verma, daughter, coparcener, 29 years
- Amit Verma, son, coparcener, 25 years
- That the HUF holds Rs. 51,000 received as a gift from Shri Harish Verma, a relative, by cheque, to be held as HUF property, which is the property of the HUF and not of any individual member.
- That as Karta I manage the affairs and property of the HUF for the benefit of all members, and I am authorised to apply for a PAN, open and operate a bank account with Punjab National Bank, Rohini Sector 15 branch, and file returns for the HUF.
- That all income from HUF property shall belong to the HUF and shall be accounted for separately from the personal income of the members.
- That on my death or incapacity the senior-most coparcener, son or daughter, shall act as Karta, unless the coparceners decide otherwise.

Points to know
- Since the Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act, 2005, daughters are coparceners by birth in the same way as sons (section 6).
- The Delhi High Court held in 2015 that the eldest daughter can be the Karta.
